Landscape Design

We design with a focus on your budget and aspirations. We listen to your requirements and translate it into designs that meet expectations and provide long-lasting improvements to the environment, with consideration of the regulatory Framework, ongoing maintenance and future use.

The team at CEC deliver inspiring and practical landscape designs for a broad range of projects that include private gardens, parks, recreation and green spaces, green roofs, blue infrastructure, heritage projects, educational and community facilities, sensory gardens, edible gardens, retirement homes, healthcare, commercial and residential developments, farm estates and large-scale infrastructure projects. Working for both the public and private section, including developers, landowners (farm estates, the National Trust) Town Councils, community groups etc.

Our approach to the environment is hopefully the same as yours. We aim to create high quality solutions that have a sound and sustainable environmental base. With a sound environmental knowledge base and a little imagination, we produce designs which aim to please you, their users, the public and the environment itself.

CEC can cover all aspects of hard and soft landscape design, including detailing and specifications. We also provide a central point of control for landscape related matters. Testimonials

“Working closely alongside CEC on the design proposals for the Cornwall Cycle Hub was a real pleasure for us, CEC provided excellent technical knowledge and thoroughly considered landscape design input to the project. We were impressed with their collaborative and involved approach, and their quick turnaround of key items of information, helping the project stay on programme and run smoothly. Both the Landscape and Ecology team were supportive and helpful at all stages, not only to us as Architects, but also in their support and advice to the wider client team. We look forward to working together in the future to realise the design envisaged for the site.”

“I love the church yard! I’ve actually done an oil painting in the churchyard since the work has been completed because it is so beautiful now! I love the wildflowers and the whole park is so pleasing and peaceful. Such a pleasant place to say hello to dog walkers and to meet my neighbours. Thank you!”

“It’s really great it’s gone from a muddy field to a place which is a joy to walk around. Thank you for putting something this nice for us all to enjoy and it’s also helping the local wildlife – well done!!”
