Based near Truro, we’ve grown to become a team of 21 and offer a full service under one roof, which enables us to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes for our clients.
We’re fully owned by Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and all of the profits support the Trust’s projects. In fact, over thirty years, our clients have enabled us to give nearly two million pounds to the trust and support Cornwall’s natural space and wildlife.
Guiding our business plan is the overarching Cornwall Wildlife Trust 2030 strategy, which sets out a long-term ambition for nature recovery in Cornwall. This strategy provides a clear framework for our own goals and actions, ensuring that our growth as a business directly contributes to wider environmental objectives.
Sustainability is embedded throughout our organisation; it’s not just about the advice we offer, it’s also about the way we act individually at work and through our business operations. We use local suppliers whenever possible and are proud to be a BCorp, looking after our people and well as the planet.
CEC is a registered practice with the Landscape Institute and Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. We are also a member of the Association of Wildlife Trust Consultancies (AWTC) and an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) through the AWTC.
